And it’s not about doing more — it’s about doing what matters.
Welcome to Whimsy & Wonder.
You belong here.

Meet Mrs. Parker
Educator. Advocate. Safe Space Builder.
Hi, I’m Mrs. Parker — a special education teacher, mom, partner, and the heart behind Whimsy & Wonder.

With over 25 years in the classroom, I’ve worked with students of all ages and abilities — especially those who feel deeply, express loudly, or learn differently. My passion lies in creating safe, inclusive spaces where all children can thrive, and where the grownups who care for them can feel supported, too.

I didn’t always have a soft place to land growing up — so I became one.

My work is rooted in trauma-informed practices, relationship-first teaching, and the belief that regulation always comes before education. Whether I’m supporting a child through a meltdown, guiding a teacher through a tough moment, or helping a parent feel less alone, my goal is always the same: connection over correction, and compassion over compliance.

Whimsy & Wonder was born from that mission — to offer real tools, gentle encouragement, and a little magic for the journey.

Outside the classroom, I’m a proud wife, a mom to a teenager, and a devoted dog-mom to Bowie (the French Bulldog) and Marley (the Pug), who often appear in my resources and stories.

Thanks for being here.
Let’s make learning feel better — for everyone.
